India in semifinals of men’s Twenty20 cricket at the Hangzhou Asian Games. Overcame Nepal by 23 runs in the quarter. Yashaswi Jaiswal’s brilliant century gave India a brilliant win. Jaiswal scored 100 runs in 49 balls. Chasing the target of 203 runs set by India, the neighbors finished with 179 runs. Score: India 4–202, Nepal 9–179. Captain Rituraj Gaekwad won the toss and chose to bat. Jaiswal’s innings included seven sixes and eight boundaries. The 21-year-old’s is the first century in an Indian shirt in Twenty20.
