Canada has detained 3 Indian citizens on suspicion of murdering a Khalistani leader, while India has been keeping quiet.
Last year, Khalistani leader Hardeep Singh Nagar was killed by unknown assailants in Surrey region, on which the Canadian government also expressed doubts regarding India.
However, according to foreign media reports, the Canadian police have arrested 3 ‘hit squad’ members, who were tasked to kill the Khalistani leader.
According to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the accused have been identified as 28-year-old Kiranpreet Singh, 22-year-old Kamalpreet Singh and Kiran Brar.
