The Colts missed the playoffs in 2021, and that cost Carson Wentz his job. A Week 18 loss to the Jaguars in an all-or-nothing situation probably should have resulted in more changes than just quarterback, but given a proven veteran like Matt Ryan can be expected to have an impact on the team beyond the confines of his position.
While Ryan’s second chance to assert himself is the main reason the Colts are favorites to win the division Jonathan Taylor led the team and bettors to big wins last season.
It is believed that with a more capable quarterback, the Colts would have beaten the Jaguars by the end of last season and recorded their tenth win.

The game plan
Unlike the Titans, the Colts should be able to score once morest weaker opponents. Unfortunately, they only have two teams on the roster once morest which they are favored by a touchdown or more, the Jaguars and the Texans. Like the Titans (See Titans Analysis), Indianapolis has seven games by a predicted lead of less than a field goal.
