It’s ready, it’s official: the 2022-23 NBA season schedule has finally fallen! With takeoff scheduled for Tuesday, October 18, 2022 and landing announced for April 10, 2023, the time has come to pack your bags and check your tickets. So we waste no time, and we immediately check the 100% basketball program of the Indiana Pacers.

A red pen in one hand, the calendar of his favorite franchise in the other, and we take notes in his TrashTalk Diary!

Oh that last season was complicated in Indiana. For their first exercise under Rick Carlisle, the Pacers finally decided to destroy to try to start better. Exit Domantas Sabonis, Caris LeVert and other Malcolm Brodgon, welcome Tyrese Haliburton and Buddy Hield. Fine, but where is it going? While waiting for the answer to this question, the Pacers now know what sauce they will be eaten, since the calendar for the next season has just fallen.

As surprising as it may seem, Indiana might well nab a few victories at the start of the season. San Antonio, Detroit, Houston and twice Orlando, the Pacers have one shot to play until November 23. Beware, however, the sequel is much less funny, since the residents of the Gainbridge Fieldhouse are going to have to deal with a bad month of December. Philadelphia, Miami, Boston, Golden State or even the Clippers, Rick Carlisle’s men will undoubtedly take a few spankings. The main thing is elsewhere and the fact of playing should allow some youngsters to progress. Small mention elsewhere in the sequence of March: Detroit twice in a row then Milwaukee and Philadelphia, we call that the roller coaster. Pacers fans, we wish you good luck.

# Plus long road-trip : 7 games between the end of November and the beginning of December, for possibly 0 victory.

# Longest home session: 4 games, 4 times and all in the first part of the season.

# National broadcast matches (TNT + ESPN + ABC): 1 alone, lol. And once morest Washington.

# Number of games played back-to-back: 14, not the best off.

# Matches at schedule French for the Pacers:

  • 11/27 at the Clippers (10 p.m.)
  • 18/12 vs Knicks (23h)
  • 31/12 vs Clippers (21h)
  • 08/01 vs Charlotte (23h)
  • 01/16 at Milwaukee (8:30 p.m.)
  • 05/02 vs Cavs (23h)
  • 05/03 in Chicago (9:30 p.m.)
  • 03/25 in Atlanta (10 p.m.)
  • 09/04 in New York (7 p.m.)

# A few posters to remember: hard to navigate in all this mess. Come on, we put a coin on the games once morest the Kings to see Sabonis and Haliburton find their old team (November 30 and February 3). Also note that former Pacer Malcolm Brogdon will return to Indiana on Thursday, February 23. It will also be necessary to closely monitor the giga road-trip from the end of November to the beginning of December, since the program promises to be rather full-bodied: Lakers, Clippers, Kings precisely, Jazz, Blazers, Warriors and the Wolves.
