Indiana (US): The suspect who killed his ex-girlfriend and their grandmother outside an automotive seating plant in Indiana has been sentenced to 110 years in prison. The incident took place in 2021.

The defendant shot and killed Promise Mays (21) and Pamela Slade (62). Ferrell, the ex-girlfriend’s accomplice, pleaded guilty in April to the double murder. Clinton Superior Court handed down the sentence Thursday.

The indictment states that Ferrell, a co-worker, shot them just before they were regarding to start their shift. Immediately following the murder, the accused crashed the car in the construction zone. Later he was arrested by the police. Judge Justin H. Hunter noted in his sentencing that the murders were premeditated and ‘brutal and despicable’.
