Mumbai City, disappointed following failing to make the playoffs last season, are aiming for nothing less than a title win in the coming season. With that, they have already started to strengthen the team ahead of the 2022-23 season. Reports have come out that Mumbai City is eyeing the best foreign players for the team in the coming season and now they have their eyes on the Scottish star Mark McNulty.
McNulty is currently a free agent following his contract with Scottish club Reading expired. English media Daily Record reports that he is interested in playing abroad next season and is being linked with Indian club Mumbai City FC.
Twenty-nine-year-old McNulty started playing for Scottish club Livingston in 2009. McNulty, who has played for leading English clubs such as Sheffield United, Portsmouth and Sunderland, has scored 127 goals and provided 61 assists in 388 appearances for the club. The goalscorer, who made his debut for the Scotland national team in 2019, has played two matches at the international level.
