Indian student killed after 25 km chase on cow smuggling charges – World

A 19-year-old student was shot dead by a group of accused in the Faridabad area of ​​the Indian state of Haryana, mistaking him for a cattle thief.

According to Indian media, the people who killed the young man chased his car for 25 km. Police arrested five people in connection with the incident.

Indian student Aryan Mishra and his friends Harshit and Shanky went to get food in their car on the night of August 23. At this place, the people responsible for the protection of the cows saw these youths and thought that they might be smuggling cattle. Because they were told that cattle rustlers were using the vehicle within the territory.

When the accused persons in the car signaled Shanky and Harshit to stop, they thought that it was the same person who had filed the complaint against us and now followed us. They ran the car scared.

Harshit drove for about 25 km, after which the accused opened fire on the vehicle, and a bullet went through the rear window and hit Aryan, who was sitting on the front seat, in the chest.

According to Faridabad Police, the arrested accused have been identified as Anil Kaushik, Varun, Krishna, Adesh and Soro.
