Manama > Indian School Youth Festival “Tarang 2023” stage competitions will begin on Thursday at the Isa Town campus of the school. Ravi Kumar Jain, Second Secretary, Embassy of India will be the chief guest at the opening ceremony at 6:30 pm. He will present the new LED stage screen display at the Jashanmal Auditorium. After the opening program, folk dance of the inauguration will be performed. , group song , mime competitions will take place. The Indian School Youth Festival is one of the largest school youth festivals in the Gulf countries with over 4000 students participating in 120 events. The stage events will continue on September 23, 24, 25, 26. Kalashree, Kala Pratibha titles and House Champion Awards will be presented at the grand finale. The competition is also held in the preliminary stages of group events.All the students of Isa Town Campus participated in the Essay Writing Competition.Aryabhata, Vikram Sarabhai, JC Bose, CV Raman etc. The Indian school follows the system of dividing the students into different houses to compete for prizes. Students who score maximum points in stage and non-stage events will be eligible for Kalashree and Kalapratibha awards. Indian school has prepared special software for flawless result declarations, management said. Around 800 trophies are waiting for the youth festival talents. School Chairman Prince S Natarajan said that the youth festival is organized to facilitate healthy competition among the students and bring out the best in their extra-curricular activities. Secretary Saji Antony said that the Youth Festival aims to spread the message of harmony among the youth by displaying cultural skills in public.
