On January 28, India’s Trade and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal called for the establishment of an international network of advisors, investors and entrepreneurs to strengthen the global startup ecosystem.

Speaking at the opening session of the Team Kick-off Conference Startup20 of the G20 in Hyderabad, Minister Piyush Goyal said that the new network should support and inspire startups, and act as a group to facilitate the exchange of ideas, best practices and opportunities. funding mechanism as well as promoting cooperation in research and development activities.

He noted that the first Startup20 Team was established under President of G20 of India, as part of India’s particular focus on innovation.
