Sachin Tendulkar, who hails from Mumbai, won 2 crore dirhams which is around 45 crore Indian rupees in Mehsoos draw in Dubai. He has been expat in UAE for 25 years. Sachin, who currently works in an architectural firm, learned that he won the draw on Saturday through mail on Sunday morning. Sachin says that he naturally did not believe at first. Mahsoos has been participating in the draw for the past two years. He knew that one day luck would be with him. But I can’t believe I won. Sachin also says that he could not sleep after getting a call from Mehsoos.
So far, about 25,000 dirhams (5.6 lakh Indian rupees) have been spent to participate in the draw. Sachin Tendulkar, who lives in Dubai with his wife and children, brought home a kitten on Saturday morning. Sachin’s reply was a smile when asked if he was lucky to bring a cat. The aim is to provide better education to the children. Sachin said that he did not think about anything else.
