An Indian-origin doctor has been arrested in America for recording indecent pictures and videos of women and girls. 40-year-old Umeer Ijaz is accused of taking nude pictures and videos of his patients for 6 years.
It has been learned that Umeer had installed hidden cameras in the hospital and at home. More than 13,000 pornographic videos of women were found in just one hard drive. Police also seized 15 other external devices.
40-year-old Umeer Ijaz went to America in 2011. He has worked in many hospitals. After completing his residency at Sinai Grace Hospital in Michigan, he began his practice in Dawson, Alabama. He is a specialist in internal medicine. He returned to Michigan from Dawson in 2018 to start a new practice in Oakland County.
Umeer Ejaz was arrested on August 8 for allegedly installing hidden cameras in bathrooms, changing areas, hospital rooms and even in his home.
