Indian bowler Babs ahead of Pakistan champions’ batsmen

Pakistan Champions Saturday in the World Series of Legends thanks to an aggressive performance by their batters India Defeated the champions by 68.

In the match played in Birmingham, India champions invited Pakistan to bat following winning the toss. Pakistan champions scored 243 runs for 4 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Kamran Akmal scored 77 runs and Sharjeel Khan scored 72 runs. Soheb Maqsood was dismissed for 51 runs off 26 balls.

Shahid Afridi was out for zero while Shoaib Malik remained not out with 25 runs.

RP Singh and Anwarit Singh of the Indian champions took one wicket each. Dhol Kulkarni and Pawan Negi also dismissed one player each.

In pursuit of 244 runs of Pakistan champions, India champions team might score 175 runs for 9 wickets and faced defeat by 68 runs.

The Indian team had a slightly better start to the innings but with a total score of just 28, wicketkeeper Robin Othappa was dismissed by Pakistani bowler Sohail Khan in the third over.

Othappa was caught out by Sharjeel Khan, while he scored 22 runs with the help of two sixes and a four.

The eighth over of the Indian innings proved to be very bad for the team as two Indian players had to see the way to the pavilion in this over.

India’s second wicket fell on the last ball of the eighth over at 89, when Shoaib Malik clean bowled Ambati Rayudu.

Ambati scored 39 off 23 balls with two sixes and three fours.

After Ambati’s dismissal, Yusuf Pathan came in to play, but he managed to play only two balls and was run out on the third ball of the ninth over.

Shoaib Malik unleashed his bowling magic and dismissed Garkrat Singh Mann lbw in the tenth over for a total score of 90.

Garkrat Singh Mann was the fourth Indian batsman to go to the pavilion, scoring just one run.

India’s next wicket also fell to Shoaib Malik when he clean bowled Yuvraj Singh. Yuvraj scored only 14 runs.

Irfan Pathan was caught out by Shoaib Malik off Riyad Wahab for a total score of 142 in the 16th over.

Abdin batsmen Pawan Nag and Harbhajan Singh were also shown the way to the pavilion by Wahab Riaz.

With the fall of these two wickets, India’s total score was 150

India’s last wicket fell on 160 in the 19th over when Suresh Raina was out.

India tested seven bowlers and all proved to be very costly as none had an economy rate of less than 9.5.

RP Singh, Anwarit Singh, Dahol Kulkarni and Nagy took one wicket each.
