In an interview with Indian newspaper Hindustan Times, Alia Bhatt opened up regarding what it’s like to play a villain in a film, something she has never done before.
Rokki Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani star Alia Bhatt had this to say regarding her role in the new film, ‘I think it takes a lot of purpose and dedication to be a bad person, because for me, I’m not bad. .
‘For myself I am the right person. There is a reason behind Kia’s fondness, need or desire for the heart. She has a goal and she believes in it.
‘He’s not a bad person in his own right, so you have to be completely connected to the moment as an actor. I think it’s a matter of reflecting on both sides and with clarity of purpose.’
In an interview with Indian news agency Press Trust of India (PTI), Gadutt spoke regarding his experience working with Alia Bhatt.

‘He is a big name in the Indian film industry but this is his first Hollywood film and it is entirely in English. They are very talented. They are very intelligent and pay attention to small details. They have that attraction that actors have.’
Alia has made her Hollywood debut following her latest movie Roki Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani hit the theaters.
The film, which also stars Ranveer Singh, has now grossed over $24 million at the global box office.
Heart of Stone has been released on streaming service Netflix on Friday (August 11).
