New Delhi: India has sharply criticized the stand of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The Ministry of External Affairs (MoEA) has accused the OIC statement of spreading hate speech and discrimination once morest the Muslim community in the country and saying that the remnants of it were blasphemous remarks by BJP leaders. The Ministry of External Affairs said that this also exposed the divisive agenda of the OIC Secretariat.
India rejects the OIC Secretariat’s inappropriate and narrow-minded statement. “India respects all religions,” the statement said. Movements with a communal approach must end. India has called on the OIC to respect all faiths and religions.
