India to win the series; Playing XI for the second match

The second match of the T20I series between India and Sri Lanka will be played in Pune on Thursday. After winning the first match in Mumbai, Hardik Pandya and his team are going to win the second match and pocket the three-match series.

The team may not be ready for major changes in the team that came out in the last match. A likely change is swapping out a pacer for an extra spinner. Harshal Patel will be out while one of Washington Sundar and Kuldeep Yadav will step into the position.

Sanju Samson, who disappointed in the first match, will remain in the team. Although Sanju failed to impress the Mumbai crowd, he failed. It is believed that Sanju will be given a chance in the next match too as the selectors and BCCI are keen to give him a long career.

India Probable XI: Ishan Kishan (WK), Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav, Sanju Samson, Hardik Pandya (C), Deepak Hooda, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar/Kuldeep Yadav, Shivam Mavi, Umran Malik, Yuzvendra Chahal

At the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune from 7 pm on Thursday. The match will be telecast live on Star Sports channels and Hotstar.
