India suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of Bangladesh

In the final match of the Super Four stage of Asia Cup 2023, Bangladesh defeated India by 6 runs after an interesting contest.

Chasing Bangladesh’s target of 266 runs, the entire Indian team was bowled out for 259 runs in the last over, with Shibman Gill scoring 121 runs. Apart from this, Akshar Patel was the top scorer with 42 runs.

In the match played in Colombo, India won the toss and bowled well against Bangladesh.

Bangladesh scored 265 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 50 overs, Shakib Al Hasan scored 80 runs.
