Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is regarding to give up his Canadian citizenship. In an interview to Aaj Thakin, he said that India is everything to him and that he has applied to change his passport and that people are criticizing his Canadian citizenship without knowing it.
“India is everything to me. Everything I earned was from here. So it is lucky to be able to give back in some way. What people say without knowing anything can be annoying. In the 90s, he took Canadian citizenship following 15 films failed. I thought My movies are not working properly. I have to work. A friend from Canada called there. I applied for citizenship and got it. I went to Canada before the release of two films. It became a super hit. So the acting started once more. Forgot regarding the passport. I never thought I would have to change my passport. But now the application has been made to change the Canadian passport,” said Akshay Kumar.
