India has invited influencers from the Muslim world to restore its sunken reputation in front of the world due to rape and open violations of human rights.
India has invited a 15-member team of United Arab Emirates (UAE)-based content creators specializing in travel, tech, food and lifestyle to New Delhi. All these social media influencers arrived in India on August 26 on the invitation of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs.
The team of influencers has arrived in India on an eight-day tour, visiting historic sites and higher education institutions in Delhi, as well as the Himalayan region of Leh and Ladakh.
Another influencer Soheila Wail said, ‘In Arab countries, there is a certain perception that India is dangerous, there is a lot of traffic, it is not safe. But when we are here, we don’t feel anything like that. It is quite easy to move around, there is no sense of hassle … I love the way Indian people interact with us. They are very polite.’
