Birmingham
After a resounding victory in the first game, India will enter the second Twenty20 once morest England today. If you win, you can win the three match series. The match is at Edgbaston at 7pm. With Hardik Pandya’s all-round excellence, India crushed the English team by 50 runs in the first game. Hardik scored 51 runs and four wickets to give India a great win.

Score: India 8–198, England 148 (19.3).

Apart from Hardik (51 off 33 balls), Deepak Hooda (33) and Suryakumar Yadav (39) shone for India in the bat. The victory was made easy by the pacers who bowled brilliantly. English captain Jos Buttler was bowled by Bhuvneshwarkumar in the very first ball he faced. There was no comeback for England. Moeen Ali (36) is the top scorer. Debutant Arshdeep Singh took two wickets for India.

Team selection is a headache for India today when they go for the series. All the main characters are back. Former captain Virat Kohli is also under pressure. If he does not perform well in the remaining two games, Kohli will not have a place in the Twenty-20 World Cup team. The 33-year-old has not played for India since February.

Hooda, who replaces Kohli at number three, is in good form. Kohli is likely to replace Ishan Kishan as the opener. Ravindra Jadeja is sure to replace Axar Patel. If Rishabh Pant comes, Dinesh Karthik will have to be out. Jaspreet Bumrah will also come in place of Harshal Patel or Arshdeep. England are on the comeback trail. They are hoping to find excellence in the batting line-up. Butler, Jason Roy and David Malan are the spearheads.
