New Delhi: India dominates the new ODI rankings of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Three of the top 5 batting players are Indian players. Shubman Gill retained the top position with 826 points.

Pakistan’s Babar Assam retained the second position with two points less. Virat Kohli climbed one place to third (791 points) on the strength of his impressive performances in the World Cup.

Rohit Sharma (769) moved up one place to fourth. South Africa’s Quinton de Kock, New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell, Australia’s David Warner, South Africa’s Rasie van der Dusen, England’s David Malan and Ireland’s Harry Tector are in the fifth to 10th positions.

South Africa’s Keshav Maharaj retained the top spot among bowlers with 741 points. Australia’s Josh Hazelwood moved up four places to take second place with 703 points.

Mohammad Siraj dropped one place to third with 699 points while Jasprit Bumrah retained the fourth position with 685 points.

Kuldeep Yadav dropped one place to seventh, while Mohammad Shami moved up two places to join Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi at tenth.

Australia’s Adam Zampa is fifth and Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan is sixth. New Zealand’s Trent Boult and Pakistan’s Shaheen Afridi are in the eighth and ninth ranks.

Among the all-rounders, Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan is the first. Ravindra Jadeja is the Indian player in the top ten along with Marco Janssen.

Mohammad Nabi, Sikander Raza, Rashid Khan, Glenn Maxwell, Asad Wala, Mitchell Santner, Seeshan Maqsood and Mehdi Hasan Miraz are the other players who have made it to the top ten.
