Chasing India’s score of 213 runs, Sri Lanka ended the innings at 172 runs.

Colombo: India defeated Sri Lanka by 41 runs at their home ground R. Premadasa Stadium and qualified for the final of the 2023 Asia Cup. India’s final berth was secured following defeating the strong Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the Super Four stage.

Lankan innings Dhananjaya de Silalva and Dunith Vellalaghe put up resistance but nobody else might do much. D’Silva scored 41 runs while Vellalaghe remained unbeaten on 42 runs.
