India: Citizens ‘fed up with one-wheeling’ throw scooters off bridge

Indian Citizens fed up with wheelers on a busy road in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka state Scooter Thrown down from the flyover.

According to the newspaper Indian Express, in the viral video, people can be seen throwing scooters onto the road from the Neelamangala flyover. This video was made by people standing on the street watching the scene.

While sharing the video on social media platform X, journalist Shreyas HS wrote that ‘angry members threw the scooters of two wheelers from the flyover in the traffic zone of Neelamangala.’

The video, shared on August 17, has been viewed by 37,000 people. Social media users criticized the whalers. However, many users criticized people for damaging scooters by dropping them from flyovers.

To which the user said, ‘Very good. Woe to the one-wheeling people.’ Another user said: ‘This is wrong. The price of the scooters should be recovered from those who throw them down.’

Bengaluru police have arrested 44 youths for performing scooter stunts on a busy road. In a video shared by the city police, several youths can be seen wheeling on scooters without helmets as vehicles pass by. Cases have been registered against a total of 33 people.
