60 and Still Shining: Armand Kautzky’s Optimistic Take on Life

So here we are, folks—Armand Kautzky, the very Hungarian voice of James Bond himself, is about to hit the big 6-0!
And what’s he doing to celebrate? Having a cri… I mean, reflecting on his life and his glass—yes, that glass that’s apparently
more full than Kim Kardashian’s makeup drawer! In an exclusive interview, the Jászai Mari award-winning actor shares his pint-sized
wisdom that might just make your typical rainy Monday feel like a sunny Saturday.

Armand has two kids. Not just any kids—two university students, which means his fridge is still exploding with leftovers
of exams and avocados. And what does he think? Well, these bundles of joy—Lucia and Armand Krisztián—have turned out to be
a delightful duo according to dad. “They’re open, kind, and inquisitive,” says Kautzky. Sounds pretty much like what you’d
find in a brochure for a summer camp, right? But hey, let’s cut him some slack; he’s a proud papa.

“I’m just so pleased they’ve found harmony,” he beams, which is impressive considering the sibling squabbles that usually
occur. Let’s be honest, when kids go to university, that unicorn-like sibling harmony turns into a war for the last
slice of pizza and who gets to wear the good pair of shoes. But here’s where it gets interesting: Kautzky believes
in the power of love! You know the kind—the one that’s often talked about at family gatherings but only actually
surfaces during a zombie apocalypse when you’re fighting over chocolate. “What flows from me to the world, I get back.”
Yes, you heard it—he’s a regular philosopher, folks. Someone get him a robe and a Netflix special!

Now, don’t think he’s just sitting around sipping his herbal tea and reflecting on world peace. No, sir! He’s got a
half-full glass to maintain! And not just any half-full glass—this one’s nearly brimming! “Life has taught me that
a positive attitude pays off,” he declares. It’s as if he’s auditioning for a motivational speaking gig. “There’s no
time to think about why the glass is half empty,” he continues, adding a touch of poetry to the mundane. If only my bank account
shared that same philosophy.

Every day he wakes up, and it’s another opportunity to spread his little rays of optimism. “I find the good in everything,”
he says, and my heart grows three sizes like the Grinch when he realizes it’s Christmas. But come on, Armand! Couldn’t
you find at least one bad review of a Bond film to poke some fun at? No? Just sunshine and butterflies? Alright then.
I guess life’s just peachy in Kautzky-land.

So as you pour yourself a drink tonight, just remember: no matter how empty you think your glass is, it’s best to focus
on what’s in it. Or in Kautzky’s whimsical case, how it’s practically overflowing!

So here’s to Armand Kautzky—a man who embraces life like an awkward hug from your elderly aunt. Optimism? Check.
Family pride? Double check. A new age James Bond philosophy? Obviously! If only our own lives could be narrated
with such finesse and cheeky humor. Cheers to you, Armand, and may your glass stay miraculously full forever.

It may seem amazing, but the Hungarian voice of James Bond, i.e. Armand Kautzky, turns 60 this November. The Jászai Mari award-winning actor, dubbing actor and worthy artist for Meglepétés given interview in which, among other things, he told about his family. As he told the newspaper, his two children are his greatest pride. The 21-year-old Lucia and the 23-year-old Armand Krisztián have a great harmony, and they have a close and deep relationship with their father from the beginning.

“They are extremely open, kind and inquisitive, and this kind of attitude brings them many positives as well. They are still looking for their place, both are university students: my son is majoring in political science, and my daughter is studying tourism and hospitality. They have not yet fully matured where they will go next, but this very openness, that they can choose freely, holds many possibilities. And the most important thing is the love that a parent can teach his children: what flows from me to the world, I get back. My children also see this, so they also have the same love for people,” said Armand Kautzky, who lives his life based on the glass half-full principle.

“I say, that particular glass is almost full to the last drop. I am very hopeful and optimistic, but life has also taught me that a positive attitude pays off. I’ve always been like this, I’ve seen this from my parents, but as the years go by and I get older, this attitude is getting stronger in me. Lived moments are more and more valuable, there is no time to think about why the glass is half empty, but you have to be happy with what you have. I find the good in everything, I love and respect everything that my environment has to offer, and since this is how I approach the world, I get this back. This is very important to me.” he declared.
