Gypsy Rose Blanchard, who previously spent a decade in prison for planning and participating in her mother’s murder, is expecting her first child. She announced the news that she is 11 weeks pregnant on her YouTube channel, noticed the Glance.
The woman and her partner, 31-year-old Ken Urker, are expecting a baby in January 2025. Blanchard, who was paroled last year, talks in the video regarding how excited she is regarding motherhood and how she wants to give her child everything she never got from her mother.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard began her relationship with Ken Urker as a pen pal during her years in prison, who proposed in 2018, but their relationship ended years before her release in 2023. At the time of her parole, Blanchard was dating Ryan Anderson, who married her while behind bars. She and Anderson have since divorced, and the woman even requested a temporary restraining order once morest her estranged ex-husband.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard – who was forced by her mother with Müchausen syndrome by proxy to live as a physically and mentally disabled person for years, forced into a wheelchair and subjected to unnecessary interventions – finally planned and then participated in the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, in 2015. After years of abuse, Gypsy Rose Blanchard agreed with her boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, that he would kill her mother, whom he stabbed 17 times in her sleep, then they fled the scene together and were eventually found and arrested by the police. The man was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, while Blanchard served ten years, eight of which he served, and was released from behind bars in December.
In the video, Gypsy Rose says that although the baby was not planned at all and the news came as a surprise to them, they are nevertheless both excited regarding the arrival of the little one and can’t wait to jump into their completely new role as parents.
