Requirements change
This year, most students take the exam according to the system used in previous years, but – as we wrote –
there are those who are already taking the exam according to the renewed high school graduation exam created on the basis of the new National Core Curriculum.
The new National Core Curriculum was introduced in 2020, so the first grade who studied according to it will finish high school in 2024.
However, those who started high school according to the modified National Core Curriculum introduced in 2020 and would take the regular school leaving exams in 2024 or later, but they want to take an early exam, or subsequently a level-up or supplementary exam, according to the new exam requirements, they can graduate in the spring of 2023 and in the fall of 2023.
In the new baccalaureate, several sets of tasks will be different than before, and new elements will be added, for example, to the intermediate-level tasks of the Hungarian baccalaureate.
