Indert managed 33 times more titles in Misiones in months than during the previous period

Asuncion, IP Agency.- As part of the land title acceleration process, which has been carried out since August 2023, the Rural and Land Development Institute (Indert) has already obtained a historic execution for the department of Misiones.

In about three months of work to regularize parcels of land in the department, 200 titles have already been processed, when in the last five years only 6 property titles have been delivered, reported the head of the entity, Francisco Ruiz Díaz.

During President Santiago Peña’s Government session in Misiones, this Friday, 30 titles will be delivered and 170 are still in process for signature and final delivery in the coming weeks.

Across the country, some 5,700 property titles have been delivered since August 2023 and it is expected that more than 6,000 will be issued before the first year of government is up.

This considerable increase in the delivery of titles is due to greater coordination between Indert, the Cadastre Directorate and the Public Records Directorate, in addition to the decrease in interest rates, which encourages settlers to carry out the regulation procedures.

The reduction in rates, from 12% to 4% for male owners and from 12% to 0% for female owners, allowed hundreds of settlers to complete the titling processes.

At the management level, Indert simplified the judicial survey procedures and strengthened field work, in order to speed up the titling process and regain the confidence of the settlers.
