The woman had deep bite and claw wounds as well as abrasions on her arm. Her glasses were smashed, her face covered in snake venom.
Her open wounds were treated in the hospital – but Peggy was lucky in her misfortune: the snake had not bitten her. Although the incident happened two weeks ago, bruises can still be seen on the Texan’s body to this day.
