Increasing evidence that there are people “against Corona”

Global researchers are investigating a compelling trend: healthcare professionals with extensive COVID-19 exposure remaining entirely uninfected.

A recent Daily Mail online publication suggests mounting evidence indicates inherent immunity in some individuals against the coronavirus and its mutations.

Experts aim to unravel this enigma, hoping to leverage these findings in developing a potent anti-viral vaccine effective against various coronavirus strains.

Investigators are exploring potential genetic variances that might confer this infection resistance.

At University College London, researchers are analyzing blood samples from numerous healthcare workers who escaped COVID-19 infection.

Lisa Stockwell, a 34-year-old nurse, treated COVID-19 patients throughout much of 2020, despite colleagues contracting the illness. Her colleagues suffered from concurrent HIV infections, yet she remained unaffected.

She revealed that even prior to vaccination, her antibody tests in late 2020 yielded negative results.

Stockwell expressed surprise at her negative test outcomes, acknowledging uncertainty about whether she possesses an unusually robust immune system or another protective factor.

Nassim Foroughi, a 46-year-old nurse at London’s Bartholomew’s Hospital, shares a similar experience. Her blood work consistently showed no signs of the virus.

Official tallies indicate over 5.4 million fatalities globally since the virus’s emergence in China in December 2019.

The United States bears the heaviest toll, with 824,000 deaths. Brazil follows with 619,000, India with 481,000, and Russia with 309,000.

The World Health Organization posits that the true mortality figures could be two to three times greater.
