Al-Marsad newspaper: Experts confirmed that one of the reasons for the high incidence of chronic kidney disease is that patients may not often show any symptoms, until resorting to a doctor becomes necessary.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the United States, 1 in 10 adults in the country suffers from chronic kidney disease (CKD), and that number continues to rise.

And the “Patch” website published 10 signs that your kidneys are “in danger” as follows:

1- Changes in urine: If you notice foamy urine, have difficulty urinating, your urine becomes dark and then passes in small amounts, or you need to urinate several times at night, you should not hesitate to see your doctor.

2- Excessive swelling: If you notice significant, frequent swelling in your hands and feet, this may indicate that you have kidney disease.

3- Shortness of breath: When you feel that your breathing to breathe has become difficult, and therefore shortness of breath calls for a specialist doctor.

4- Skin rash: Kidney disease causes the body to fill up with toxins, so it looks for any way to get rid of them, and one of these ways is through the pores in the skin, and this may lead to a rash, dry skin, irritation, or even sores.

5- A metallic taste in the mouth: People with kidney disease sometimes feel metallic-tasting food because their body has become full of toxins.

6- Poor concentration and dizziness.

7- Lower back pain: Low back pain is often associated with kidney damage or kidney failure, because the kidneys are located in the lower back.

8- Fatigue The patient feels tired and exhausted because the kidneys produce a hormone known as EPO, which increases the number of red blood cells, which carry oxygen to all parts of the body, and poor oxygen leads to a feeling of fatigue and tiredness.

9- Nausea and vomiting: Toxins build up in the blood, which can cause nausea and vomiting.

10- Goosebumps: Kidney disease leads to a lack of oxygen-carrying red blood cells. When this happens, you can often develop anemia, the symptoms of which include a constant feeling of cold.
