The General Directorate of Meteorology reported that strong thundershowers (between 20 and 60 mm), accompanied by hailstones and strong local wind gusts (between 70 and 85 km/h), are expected from today, Saturday to Monday, in a number of regions of the Kingdom. The Directorate stated, in an orange alert warning bulletin, that these thunderstorms (from 20 to 40 mm) will affect the prefectures and provinces of Essaouira, Safi, Sidi Bennour and El Jadida today, Saturday, from two in the afternoon until eleven at night.
The same source added that the same phenomenon (from 20 to 40 mm) will also affect Tetouan, Tangier-Asilah, M’diq-Fnideq, Fahs-Anjra, Larache, Kenitra, Chefchaouen and Ouzane, tomorrow, Sunday, from midnight to ten in the morning.
The Directorate recorded that these thundershowers (from 30 to 50 mm) are also expected, tomorrow, Sunday, from midday to eleven at night, in each of the prefectures and provinces of Kelaa des Sraghna, Al Haouz, Chichaoua, Marrakesh, Rehamna, Tinghir, Ouarzazate, Taroudant, Tata, and Assa. Alzak.
The same phenomenon (from 40 to 60 mm) is also expected to affect, the day after tomorrow, Monday, Tinghir, Midelt, Errachidia, Zagora, Ouarzazate, Tata and Taroudant, from midnight to eleven in the evening.
