A security source in charge of the final toll of the victims of the horrific collision that occurred on the top of the ring road, Tuesday evening, revealed.
The source said in statements to Masrawy that the accident resulted in the death of Amr Muhammad Hassan Ali and an unidentified body that was deposited in the mortuary of Al Haram Hospital, pointing out that two were injured, one of whom was transferred to Al Haram Hospital and the other to Sheikh Zayed Specialist for a CT scan, pointing out that first aid was provided to others at the site of the accident and their departure.
The two injured are Mahmoud Ibrahim Mohamed Mansour, 41 years old, with a fracture of the left thigh and multiple fractures of the ribs on the right side, and Awad Samir Awad Abdo, 26 years old, who is undergoing treatment in the Department of General Surgery.
In turn, the General Directorate of Traffic pushed distress cranes and land rescue teams of the Civil Protection to lift a heavy transport vehicle “Trella” that ran over 6 owners’ cars and another quarter of transport above the Dream link.
The beginning goes back to the official of the Traffic Operations Room receiving a signal from the Emergency Police Department that a collision occurred at the top of the Grand Egyptian Museum on the Dream Compass.
The security and traffic services moved to Al-Balagh’s place, and it was found that Trella, 6 owners’ cars and a pickup truck collided on the ring road coming from Al-Wahat Road towards Al-Rimaya.
