According to the data, as of March 2022, there were 1,581,000 people employed in Incheon. In the case of men, the number was 911,000, an increase of 25,000 (2.9%) from the same month last year. In the case of women, the number increased by 6,000 (0.9%) to 670,000.
The employment rate was 61.7%, up 0.9 percentage points from the same month last year. For men, it was 71.9%, up 1.6 percentage points from the same month last year. For women, it rose 0.2 percentage points to 51.7%.

Looking at the increase or decrease from the same month last year by occupational status, the number of wage earners increased by 39,000 (3.1%). The number of non-wage workers decreased by 8,000 (2.9%).
The number of unemployed was 50,000, down 35,000 (40.8%) from the same month last year. In the case of men, the number was 31,000, a decrease of 17,000 (35.5%) from the same month last year. In the case of women, the number decreased by 17,000 (48.2%) to 19,000.
