Inauguration of the world’s largest Al Nakhla fountain in Dubai

Al-Nakhla, the world’s largest fountain, has been inaugurated.

The Palm Fountain is 150 meters high and 14,000 cubic feet wide, and more than 3,000 bulbs have been installed at the bottom of the fountain, whose colorful light creates a breathtaking scene with the water.

Hundreds of people wearing masks attended the opening ceremony of the fountain in view of the corona virus. Fireworks were also displayed during the event.

The name of Palm Fountain has also been included in the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest fountain in the world.

On the occasion of the opening ceremony of Al Nakhla, the senior marketing manager of the Guinness Book of World Records said, “We are delighted that the Palm Fountain has officially taken the title of the world’s largest fountain.”

Dubai already boasts the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, and the world’s fastest car service.

It may be recalled that the driverless robot bus was tested in Dubai in July this year.

A robot bus named Gacha was tested in a sustainable city, the Finnish company Sensible4 has created the Gacha Robot Bus. The bus automatically detects any obstacle and brakes automatically and this robot bus is capable of traveling in any weather.

Even rains, snow and dust storms cannot stop this robot bus from running.

A state-of-the-art navigation system has also been used in the bus to guide the passengers to their destination. The automated robot bus is a joint project of the Road and Transport Authority and the Dubai Future Foundation.

It should be noted that this bus is also running successfully in Finland.
