The Gabonese section of the American organization Toastmasters International (TI) will hold its inaugural session on Saturday, November 9 at the Palace of the National Assembly, in Libreville, announce the organizers.
The Toastmaster is in fact a virtual “academy” where leaders are trained. The organization celebrated its 100th birthday on October 22.
The Libreville ceremony will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. It will be marked by a gala evening at a price of 25,000 FCFA per place.
Toastmasters International (TI) is a nonprofit educational organization based in the United States that operates clubs around the world with the goal of helping people develop their communication, public speaking, and leadership skills .
Gabon decided to create its first affiliated club 100 years after the creation of the Colorado-based organization whose turnover in 2016 was US$34,255,739 million.
