Inameh predicts rain! He National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inameh) reported on Monday, August 19 that there will be rain in some states of the country due to the arrival of a new Tropical Wave.

Through the Inameh website, it was learned that in the morning there will be partially cloudy skies over much of the country with some clear areas.

However, in the areas north of Bolívar, Barinas, west of Apure, Los Andes and Lake Maracaibo, the institute predicts cloudy blankets generating rain or drizzle.

In the afternoon and evening, a progressive increase in cloud cover is expected, accompanied by rain or showers, some with electrical discharges.

This situation predominates in Essequibo, Bolívar, Amazonas, western Sucre, northern Anzoátegui, Miranda, La Guaira, the Capital District, Aragua, southern Guárico, Apure, Barinas Portuguesa, Los Andes and Zulia.

The Inameh system indicates that Hurricane Ernesto is over the Atlantic, while Tropical Wave number 30 is already located east of Panama.

Tropical Wave number 31 is moving over eastern Venezuela and Tropical Wave number 32 over the tropical central Atlantic.

In the national territory, activity in the intertropical convergence zone prevails, reinforced by local convective effects, generating cloud cover accompanied by precipitation and occasional electrical activity.

The affected areas are: Essequibo Guayana, Bolívar, Amazonas, western Sucre, northern Anzoátegui, Miranda, La Guaira, Capital District, Aragua, southern Guárico, Apure, Barinas, Portuguesa, Los Andes and Zulia, especially in the afternoon and evening hours.
