INAC authorized direct flights between Venezuela and Portugal

The National Institute of Civil Aeronautics of Venezuela-INAC – added on Tuesday Portugal to the list of nations with passenger and cargo flights allowed.

The decision was established in the NOTAM Nº C0139/22 and A0067 / 22, the institution reported in a statement published in Twitter.

The text called on all air operators and travel agencies not to market tickets on routes other than those approved by the State. The statement does not indicate from when the new aerocomercial schedule will begin to govern.

Portugal is the third European country to have regular commercial operations to Venezuela once more. Bolivia, Spain, Panama, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Turkey and Russia, complete the list of authorized countries.

Passengers must present a PCR-RT test (negative and verifiable) performed no later than 72 hours before boarding.

Prior to the pandemic, TAP Air Portugal was the only company that offered flights to Portuguese territory, with two services per week to Lisbon, according to it Airline.

  • Avior Airlines: From Caracas (CCS) to Cancun (CUN), Panama/Tocumen (PTY) and Santo Domingo/Las Américas (SDQ). From Barcelona/Anzoátegui (BLA) to Santo Domingo / Las Américas (SDQ).
  • Conviasa: From Caracas (CCS) to Cancun (CUN), Guayaquil (GYE), Havana (HAV), Managua (MGA), Moscow/Vnukovo (VKO), Panama/Tocumen (PTY), Santa Cruz de la Sierra (VVI) and Santo Domingo/Las Américas (SDQ). From Maracaibo (MAR) to Panama / Tocumen (PTY).
  • Copa Airlines: From Panama / Tocumen (PTY) to Caracas (CCS), Maracaibo (MAR) and Valencia (VLN).
  • Stellar: From Caracas (CCS) to Panama/Tocumen (PTY).
  • Iberia: Madrid (MAD)
  • LASER Airlines: From Caracas (CCS) to Cancun (CUN), Panama/Tocumen (PTY) and Santo Domingo/Las Américas (SDQ).
  • Nord Wind: From Porlamar (PMV) to Moscow / Sheremetyevo (SVO).
  • Plus Ultra Airlines: Madrid (MAD).
  • RUTACA: From Punta Cana (PUJ) to Caracas (CCS) and Maracaibo (MAR).
  • Sky Atlantic Airlines: From Caracas (CCS) to Santo Domingo / Las Américas (SDQ).
  • Turkish Airlines: Istanbul (IST).
  • Turpial Airlines: From Valencia (VLN) to Cancun (CUN), Panama/Tocumen (PTY) and Santo Domingo/Las Américas (SDQ).
  • Venezuelan RAVSA: From Caracas (CCS) to Panama / Tocumen (PTY) and Santo Domingo/Las Américas (SDQ). From Maracaibo (MAR) to Panama / Tocumen (PTY).
