Inac announces restrictions on flights to and from Venezuela due to the Pandemic

The National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (Inac), reported through an Official Statement that the restrictions on air entry to Venezuela and departure to other countries in the world are maintained, both on commercial and private flights and aviation in general, due to the increase worldwide in infections due to the Coronavirus pandemic caused by COVID-19.

Exceptionally, he reported, only commercial air operations for the transfer of passengers between the Bolivarian Republic and the following countries are authorized and maintained: Turkey, Russia, Mexico, Bolivia, Panama, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Spain, Portugal, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Brazil, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Algeria and Qatar.

He urged air operators not to sell travel tickets on routes other than the aforementioned countries and travelers not to purchase tickets that contravene these public health prevention measures.

In addition, the airports and air facilities of Venezuela will continue to apply prevention measures against the spread of the Coronavirus, for which travelers are urged to practice them, such as the use of face masks, glasses, gloves, constant hand cleaning, physical distancing and any other element of health prevention in general.
