According to Nina Kostina, when the ambulance arrived, the police officers stood nearby and repeated several times:
– They told me insistently – he himself fell. And the son confirmed this and only later, when he was traveling with his grandfather, did he confess. He never cried, you know? He was in pain, scared, ashamed, but he endured and held on,” says Nina Kostina, “The son was taken by ambulance to the 7th hospital. There he was diagnosed with a closed craniocerebral injury, a closed fracture of the nasal bones with displacement, bruising, an eye injury, Sasha’s right eye is still bloodshot, multiple bruises and injuries to the face, head, torso, arms and legs. But they did not leave him in the hospital – they sent him home. A couple of days later we called the ambulance once more. The son was sick, his head was spinning and it hurt. Sasha was not taken to the hospital. Then we went to our clinic, I was very afraid for my son and his psychological state. The manager, seeing Sasha and his condition, quickly called an ambulance and forced us to be put down. He lay there for four days and was discharged once more.
Now the child is at home, but the bruises are still fresh, and the eye is still filled with blood.
“I don’t know why my son is doing all this. The police said they didn’t find anything on him. Why then were they beaten? It turns out that if something seems to the police, they can just come and beat anyone? They won’t get anything for it? – Nina Kostina is perplexed. – I immediately wrote a statement to the police regarding what happened, the statement was sent to the prosecutor’s office, and from there to the Investigative Committee. Yesterday I was at the reception of the investigator Artem Surzhenko. He took all my documents and said that he would look into it.
