Today, Sunday, the Directorate of Health Affairs in Alexandria announced the launch of the revitalization campaign for family planning and reproductive health in Alexandria, which is scheduled to be implemented in two phases, between December 4 and 22.
The first phase of the campaign will start from 4 to 8 December, while the second phase will resume from 18 to 22 of the same month, under the slogan “Your Right to Organize” to provide free family planning and reproductive health services in all centers of the governorate through hospitals, health units and mobile clinics. , which comes as part of the periodic campaigns implemented by the Ministry to control population growth rates within the framework of concern for the health and development of the family.
The activities of the family planning stimulus campaign include providing all family planning services free of charge, in addition to organizing awareness seminars for women on the sidelines of the campaign on family planning methods and reproductive health, as well as holding exhibitions of women’s club products in health units within the activities of the campaign, amid the application of all preventive and precautionary measures. In order to preserve the health and safety of those in charge of the campaign and those who frequent it to benefit from its services.
The devices of the Ministry of Health in Alexandria provide a distinguished group of safe and effective family planning methods free of charge to raise the rates of use of family planning methods, through trained teams to sign medical examinations, while family planning methods are disbursed through fixed units, urban centers, public and central hospitals, and maternal and child care centers. And through mobile clinics to provide service in remote areas.
