A driver (86) drove on Monday around 5.30 p.m. on the main road from Steckborn TG towards Mammern TG. At the beginning of Mammern he came off the road for unknown reasons, rolled his vehicle down the edge of the meadow, tipped over and came to a standstill on the railway tracks.
The driver and his passenger (86) were slightly injured. They were taken to the hospital.
As a result, rail traffic had to be closed for around two hours. The material damage to the car and the railway system cannot yet be quantified. (of)
