A Pakistani reporter delved deeper into the floods to report on news, in a move that was praised by many on social media.

The journalist was talking regarding the flood situation in the country when he suddenly gathered his courage and waded through deep water to report from the heart of the event.

A Twitter user shared the clip, commenting, “Dangerous and fatal Pakistani reports. There is a flood in Pakistan, news channels, army and Imran Khan too. The four are uncontrollable.

The video begins with the reporter holding a rock in his left hand and a microphone in his right hand, with the rest of his body submerged in the flood waters. The reporter can be heard describing the situation in the high tide water, which takes him as it flows, as if he is unable to balance or stand up straight.

The clip received tremendous attention from social media users, who praised the reporter’s dedication and efforts, and one user commented, “I congratulate you, sir, for the quality of the report.”

And the Pakistani authorities announced that the death toll from the floods sweeping the country has risen to 1138 dead and 1634 injured.

And Minister of Climate Change (Sherry Rahman) revealed that a third of her country is “submerged under water” as a result of floods caused by record monsoon rains this year.
