In the video .. “interested in consumer affairs” reveals the secret of the high prices of restaurants and cafes’ meals

Al-Marsad newspaper: Abdul Rahman Al-Ajimi, who is interested in consumer affairs, revealed the reason for the recent increase in the prices of restaurants and cafes.

He explained the reason for the difference in prices in some restaurants compared to other countries. There are some restaurants whose meals are priced at 30 or 40 riyals, but in other countries the meal and the restaurant are the same, but at 15 riyals.

Abdul Rahman said: “I passed by a shop that paid 650,000 riyals of rent. They have 8 Saudi and foreign employees, and they have minimum expenses. Here the price hike is logical, so that he can compensate for what he paid.”

He concluded his speech: “In other countries, the rent of the shop is much lower, and the salaries of the employees are lower, depending on how much they spend, and sometimes the consumer chooses the higher-priced place despite the many options.”
