Al-Marsad newspaper: The Kingdom’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway, Amal Yahya Al-Mouallimi, revealed the scenes of the great secret that she kept from her husband and children, and they were surprised by the media, represented by her candidacy for her current position.
Al-Moalami said in an interview with the “Meeting from Zero” program broadcast on MBC: “The news that I was informed that I am a candidate to be an ambassador for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in one of the Scandinavian countries, I do not hide that the news was circulating two years before the decision was issued.”
And the ambassador added: “One day, I received a call from an official at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who informed me that I was a candidate for the position of the Kingdom’s ambassador to Norway, and if you saw that this was appropriate, the nomination would be raised, and until the decision was issued by the High Commissioner, the issue should be private.”
Al-Moualli indicated that she always reminded herself that in part of the oath, “I shall not reveal any of the state’s secrets.” So she hid the nomination from her husband and children, who were surprised by the media.
