Al-Marsad newspaper: The nutritionist, Dr. Abdullah Al-Mutairi, said that it is necessary to know the source from which the pasta was made, as it is preferable to eat those made from whole wheat grains and not made from white flour, which is the worst kind, by reading their ingredients.

Al-Mutairi stressed, during his speech on Al-Ekhbariya channel, that excessive consumption of pasta, especially white pasta, causes many diseases, including obesity and diabetes.

Al-Mutairi indicated that it is not excluded that the number one suspect of diabetes and obesity in the Kingdom is excessive consumption of pasta, noting that carbohydrates in general are responsible for many health problems.
