Al-Marsad Newspaper: Director of Institutional Communications at the Gulf Health Council, Dr. Ahmed Al-Ammar, said that excessive consumption of the analgesic “Panadol and Fivadol” causes liver failure.
Al-Ammar continued during his speech to Al-Ekhbariya channel: “It is considered the safest dwelling on the face of the earth, but at the same time it causes liver failure, and the equation lies in the safe use of the dwelling.”
He added: “The dose should not be exceeded, especially once, and the problems and complications come specifically from taking high doses, more than the length of use.”
And he continued: “For example, the paracetamol group has an upper limit for healthy people to not exceed 4 grams per day, and a single dose does not exceed 1 gram.”
He added: “The group of caffeine and anti-inflammatories, if a person has kidney failure, prefers to use other types of analgesics, and they are not suitable for people with dehydration, and the person must take sufficient fluids when using these drugs.”
