Al-Marsad Newspaper: A consultant cardiologist at the National Guard Hospital, Dr. Muhammad Balghith, revealed that there have been deaths among young people and children in the Gulf region due to their excessive consumption of energy drinks.
He said during his hosting of the “MBC Week” program that energy drinks are dangerous and among the methods that young people have unconsciously and as a way of diagnosis, and that they have public health damages and have become easily available and accessible to everyone.
He added that it causes anxiety and imbalance, even in thinking and memory, and is always tense to the point that his family thinks that he is using a drug, but in fact he is excessively caffeinated, noting that the high caffeine in the body causes sleep disturbance and a feeling of euphoria and energy, but in fact his mind is busy with other things. Digestive problems also occur and they have a feeling of regurgitation.
He stressed that for the first time, there are deaths in the Gulf region among young people.
