In the video.. a famous stadium cracked and split in half under the legs of the fans

A horrific video showed the stadium (La Bombonera) in the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires, split in half while fans jumped and cheered during a match for Boca Juniors, which heralds an imminent disaster.

The video, which was widely circulated on social media, was taken from a match that Boca Juniors lost to Corinthians last Wednesday, with a penalty shootout in the Libertadores competition, and the video has been viewed more than 3 million times so far.

The frightening clip, which is only nine seconds long, shows the top of the stand behind a goal split under the feet of fans singing and chanting, one side swinging up and down, according to Al Jazeera Mubasher.

The stadium, known for hosting some of the world’s most exciting football shows, appears to be on its last legs, and the more than 82-year-old building in Buenos Aires is very important to Argentina, and repair work is expected if the video continues to circulate.

Boca Juniors is one of the biggest clubs in Argentina, having over the years included famous players such as Pele and Diego Maradona, who played in the important stadium (La Bombonera) in the history of the sport.

It is noteworthy that the last time the stadium underwent renovation was in 1996, and fans, through the communication sites, called on the authorities to consider a comprehensive renovation of this stadium because of its great importance.
