In the USAThis little girl made her life with a cake pan around her neck

A two-year-old girl was rescued by firefighters following mistaking a cake pan for a hat Monday in Pennsylvania. His mother, who teleworked, recounts the scene.

Quinnley would have liked to keep her new accessory longer.

Some teleworking days are more complicated than others. On Monday, Erin Meixel was busy with her task when her daughter Quinnley, who was in the same room, started shouting, “Mom, stuck! Mom, stuck!” Turning around, the American living in Lewistown (Pennsylvania) discovered her child in a delicate posture. We do not know how, but the girl had managed to get her head stuck in a cake pan. “She thought she might wear it like a hat,” laughs her mom.

After several unsuccessful attempts to remove the object, Erin tried to contact the local fire department, to no avail, says Fox News. The American, who wanted to avoid stirring up the police for this minor incident, then turned to another barracks in the area. But once more, without success. It was in her little shoes that Erin ended up talking to the police, explaining to the person on the phone that it was not an emergency.

Indeed, little Quinnley seemed rather comfortable despite her somewhat intrusive accessory. “She was sitting there eating M&Ms and sipping her sippy cup while watching cartoons,” Erin says. “She wore the mold so low that it looked like a shawl,” adds the mother. Firefighters contacted by police used pliers to cut the mold in two places. This rescue was obviously not to Quinnley’s taste: “She was angry that she no longer had her “mould hat”, laughs her mother. The little girl finally went back to playing as if nothing had happened.
