In the Sabers, the young players lead the way

The three youngest forwards in the Buffalo Sabers roster are named JJ Peterkawho celebrated his 21st birthday on Saturday, Jack Quinn21, and Dylan Cozens21. All three prepare their coach Don Granato a lot of joy, as he explained following the away game at the Nashville Predators, which the Sabers won 5-3.

“They controlled the game. I didn’t have to explain much on the bench. They did the right thing straight away. These guys used the great atmosphere in the arena to their advantage. Peterka, Quinn, Cozens put a lot of pressure on the opponent Our young guys, our youngest players have delivered. It’s nice to see that they work so hard and are able to turn things in our favor. Their performance was really impressive,” Granato drew a consistently positive conclusion .

At the beginning of the second half, Cozens scored the opening goal thanks to preparatory work from Quinn and the birthday boy Peterka, and finally Quinn made sure that nothing was lost in the final phase with the goal.

“Not only did they look fresh, they were fresh, both mentally and physically. They were really, really dangerous. Quinn was also brilliant defensively.
