In the Moscow region, a garbage truck moved two girls born in 2017 and 2019, one of them died on the spot, the second went to the hospital. SC reports.
The accident happened on Thursday, September 1, around 8:40, in Istra. A criminal case has been initiated under Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Provision of services that do not meet security requirements”). The investigating authorities of the head office of the Russian Investigative Committee near Moscow are petitioning for his transfer from the police. Interrogations of witnesses, eyewitnesses and parents of girls are conducted.
As specified in Telegram channel Prosecutor’s Office of the Moscow Region, the case is under the control of the department. The press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Moscow Region reported that the children did not cross the road along the zebra crossing.
“At one of the houses on Lenin Street, the driver of the Maz car, when leaving the secondary road to the main one, hit two minor children who were crossing the roadway outside the pedestrian crossing zone,” the report says.
The police opened a criminal case under Art. 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Violation of the rules of the road and the operation of vehicles”).
